The Windermere Agency

Your home, given the calm it deserves.

For families whose schedules do not slow down (and whose standards do not bend). Wherever home is, we carry the search; you choose the person.

A calm, light-filled home

Founded in WindermerePlacing nationwide

  • Founded in Windermere; placing white-glove household staff for families across the country
  • Five-stage vetting: phone screen, in-person, three references, Checkr background check, HEXACO culture-fit read
  • 60-day replacement guarantee on every placement
  • Discretion as a default; mutual confidentiality, no public candidate database

Why families choose us

You do not have time to interview thirty nannies. You should not have to.

We replace the firehose with a curated three or four. We do the listening; you do the choosing. Most placements close within four weeks, because the people we send have already been screened, referenced, background-checked, and read for cultural fit before you ever see their resume.

What you do not see is part of what you are paying for: the candidates we did not send, the conversations we held in confidence, the names that never appeared in your inbox.

How It Works

Our Process

  1. Tell us about your home

A short inquiry form to share your household, the kind of support you are seeking, and your timing.

  2. A discovery conversation, on your time

A relaxed thirty-minute call where we listen carefully to your routines, values, and the texture of your day.

  3. Three or four people, chosen for you

Instead of a flood of resumes, you receive a small, curated selection of candidates already aligned with your home.

  4. You meet them; we listen for fit

Interview each candidate at your pace. We stay close throughout, holding the structure so you can focus on the people.

  5. Move forward with support, for as long as you need

Once you choose, we remain part of the engagement: onboarding, check-ins, and a replacement guarantee if anything shifts.

What families come back to

The three things placed families consistently tell us they value.

  • Fit

Someone who reads the texture of the home, not just the role.

The placements that last are the ones where the candidate notices the small things; the morning rhythm, the parents' standards, the way the household actually runs. We screen for that read, not just credentials.

  • Time

Three or four people, chosen for you. That is the search.

Families come to us because they cannot afford to interview twenty candidates and they should not have to. We do the listening. The shortlist is small on purpose.

  • Trust

Discretion is structural, not a marketing line.

Mutual confidentiality with every candidate. Background checks before you ever see a resume. Records destroyed for anyone who does not advance. The point is that you do not have to ask for any of this.

Real, opt-in testimonials replace this section as our placed families share them. Discretion stays the default; we never publish a name without explicit consent.

What families ask first

The questions that come up before the first call.

Less to carry

The right person quietly takes a layer of mental load off your shoulders.

The schedule. The dietary preferences. The hundred small things that used to be yours alone. You stop thinking about them. You begin to notice the day differently.

That is what we are placing.
